The International Tourism Forum "Mangystau International Tourism Forum" was held in the Mangystau region of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as a B2B meeting between representatives of the tourism business of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, organized with the support of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).

The DMO Karakalpakstan organization was represented by Ms. Dilyara Dzhumamuratova, who actively contributed to panel discussions on key issues of tourism development and international cooperation.

As part of the Info Tour organized by the "VIZIT AKTAU" Travel Agency, the delegation from Karakalpakstan explored major tourist attractions of the Mangystau Region, including:

·      unique natural landmarks — Bozzhyra and Kyzylkum gorges, Cape Zhygylgan, Mounts Kokala and Sherkala, the “Castle Valley” Airakty–Shomanai, Kapamsay Canyon, and the picturesque Ybykty-say Canyon;

·      significant architectural and spiritual monuments — Beket Ata, Shopan Ata, Sultan-Epe, Shakpak-Ata, and Karaman-Ata;

·      the Kogez Ethno-village and the Sarbas Business Center;

·      leading hotel complexes such as Rixos Water World Aktau, Zhagalau Resort, Holiday Inn, Caspian Riviera Grand, and Tree of Life Beach Hotel.

The forum served as a major international platform for experience exchange, partnership building, and promotion of regional tourism potential.

Participation by DMO Karakalpakstan provided an opportunity to present Karakalpakstan’s tourism assets, strengthen collaboration with Kazakhstani partners, and discuss future joint initiatives aimed at developing sustainable tourism across the region.
