A presentation of Karakalpakstan's tourism potential, as well as achievements in cooperation with the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and other partners, was held in Nukus within the framework of the "Revival of the Aral Sea Region: Building on Achievements, Forming the Future" forum.

During the presentation, projects and initiatives being implemented jointly with GIZ, the Public Fund under the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Department for the Development of Tourism of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, and the CTN (Community Tourism Network) of the Fergana Valley were presented, emphasizing the importance of promoting the unique natural and cultural attractions of Karakalpakstan and developing sustainable tourism as a key factor in improving the quality of life of the population.

The presentation served as a platform for strengthening partnerships and exchanging experience in sustainable development and tourism, with particular attention to the Aral Sea region as a priority area for cooperation with partners to restore ecosystems and enhance the resilience of local communities.
